2025 in Imaginative Play: Lilliput Play Homes’ Year-in-Review

Play Cafés and Mini Cities That Opened Their Doors

Looking back, 2025 was a banner year for imaginative play spaces, and Lilliput Play Homes was proud to see our themed playhouses and villages become the heart of new play cafés, museums, and indoor mini-cities across North America – and beyond. Below we’ve organized highlights by region and customer base, with links to each location so families and operators can explore them further.

Why these openings matter – developmentally and commercially

Each of these venues uses Lilliput Play Homes products to create engaging, durable, and attractive pretend-play buildings – from cafés and grocery markets to schoolhouses and fire stations. The benefits operators and families reported in 2025 include:

  • Rich, sustained pretend play – multi-room mini-villages encourage longer, cooperative role-play sessions that build language, social skills, and boost cognitive skills in children.
  • Flexible programming – venues use Lilliput play houses for open play, class-based learning, birthday packages, and field trips, seeking to increase revenue per square foot.
  • Photogenic, branded spaces – high-quality finishes and modular layouts make for better marketing, bookings, and social content for cafés and museums.
